The Cheshire Athletics Championships were held at Macclesfield over the weekend of 12th-13th May in beautiful sunshine on both days. It was a successful day for three Warrington AC athletes at the Sunflowers Halewood 5km race on Saturday 5th May. Nick Jones led the race from the gun and went on to win the race in 15.55 minutes, with club mate Paul Bagan finishing in second place in 17.24 minutes. Jordan Jones travelled to Leicester to take part in Steeplefest, the UK's first ever 'steeplechase only' track event. Athletes travelled from all over the country to take part in the unique event.
