Cheshire League Wrexham Saturday 4th June 2016

The second round of the Cheshire League took place at Wrexham on Saturday 4th June and Warrington Athletic Club had a successful day winning the match by 9 points from East Cheshire and also were 2nd in the under 11 competition.
In the Men’s events there were 4 winners with Dominic Norviss winning the B 75 metres in the under 11 Boys in 11.8 seconds,Jadon Allen in the under 13 Boys Long Jump with 4.20 metres,Sam Evans under 15 Boys 800 metres 2 minutes 13.6 seconds and Joe Williams under 15 Boys High Jump with 1.60 metres.
In the Women’s events the winners were Amelia Smithers under 11 Girls A 75 metres with 11.9 seconds,Molly Wormald under 11 girls B 600 metres in 2 minutes 04.2 seconds,Meg Corker under 13 girls A 200 metres in 28.7 seconds and C 800 metres in 2 minutes 38.1 seconds,Ashley Nemits under 13 Girls B 200 metres 29.4 seconds and A 800 metres in 2 minutes 28.5 seconds,Rebecca Nixon under 13 Girls C 200 metres in 30.8 seconds and B 800 metres in 2 minutes 38.4 seconds,Eva Ferris under 13 Girls D 800 metres in 2 minutes 53.4 seconds,Maisie Bell under 13 Girls non scoring 800 metres in 2 minutes 55.0 seconds,Eve Lloyd under 17 Women’s C 200 metres in 29.5 seconds,Lauren Ferris under 17 Women’s 800 metres in 2 minutes 18.7 seconds,Katie Lowery Senior Women’s 800 metres in 2 minutes 13.6 seconds,Elizabeth Wright,Alice Clare and Linda Dykes in the Senior Women’s B,C and D 200 metres in 28.2 seconds,30.9 seconds and 35.3 seconds respectively.There were also wins in the under 13 Girls 4x100 metres relay,under 17 Women’s 4x100 metres relay and Senior Women’s 4x400 metres relay.
