Youth Development League Sunday 19th 2016 Macclesfield

Warrington Athletic Club’s under 13-15 team travelled to Macclesfield on Sunday 19th June for the third Youth Development League match but due to the Mason Trophy Schools Match the previous day were depleted.This however did not stop them producing a host of personal best performances and 9 individual wins.
In the Girls events Ashley Nemits had a double win taking the A 800 metres under 13 race in 2 minutes 28.0 seconds and the B 150 metres in 20.2 seconds.In the 70 metres hurdles under 13 Meg Corker won in 12.1 seconds.
In the Boys events Matthew Williams was the only winner in the under 13 age group winning the 75 metres hurdles in 15.1 seconds and then produced an excellent performance to win the High Jump with a leap of 1.47 metres.
In the under 15 age group Matthew’s older brother also done the same double winning his 80 metres hurdles in 12.4 seconds and the High Jump with 1.60 metres,In the 800 metres Joe Buckley and Isaaq Ataullah won the A and B races with 2 minutes 16.1 seconds and 2 minutes 28.8 seconds respectively.In the 1500 metres there was also maximum points as Jordan Jones and Tom Hurrell also won the A and B races in 4 minutes 29.3 seconds and 5 minutes 06.7 seconds respectively.
